Serving people with disabilities in Southwestern Minnesota

The Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL) is a private, non-profit, consumer controlled, non-residential, community based organization whose direction is determined by and for people with disabilities. Emphasis is placed on improving the quality of life for all people with disabilities who live in southwestern Minnesota.

Marshall Area Social Rec operates under SWCIL which is a community-based, nonprofit organization serving people with all disability types through individual and systems advocacy, cross-disability peer counseling, information and referral, independent living skills training and public education.
